The Casri Water Detection Capsules can be used to indicate thepresence of free water (suspended water) in jet fuels at handlingtemperature, which is simple, rapid and sensitive. Casri isauthorised and approved by the Civil Aviation Administration ofChina. A 5ml sample is drawn through the detector head intothe syringe. An initial indication occurs at about 10ppm when thecapsule turns from a pale yellow to a pale green colour. The colourdeepens to a dark green-blue, indicating a water content of30ppm.
