KRYTOX 143AZ/AA/AY/AB/AC/AD

Chemours™Krytox® 143 series oils are clear, colorless,fluorinated synthetic oils that arenonreactive, nonflammable, safe in chemical and oxygenservice, and are long-lasting. Krytox® is a perfluoropolyether(PFPE)—also called perfluoroalkylether (PFAE) orperfluoropolyalkylether (PFPAE)   The polymer chain iscompletely saturated and contains only carbon, oxygen, andfluorine. On a weight basis, a typical Krytox® oilcontains 21.6% carbon, 9.4% oxygen, and 69.0% fluorine.

All standard grades of grease are thickened with highefficiency PTFE, whose formula is (CF2-CF2)n. This specialhigh efficiency thickener has a melting point of 325°C (617°F)and has low molecular weight and submicron (0.2 μ) particlesize for higher performancein bearings.

Krytox® 240 series greases are white buttery greases with allof the same properties as our 143 series oils thatthey are made from, but they are in greaseform. 

Krytox® 250 series EP greases are black greases thatcontain molybdenum disulfide added as an extremepressure additive for highly loaded gears andbearings. 

Krytox® 283 series anticorrosion greases are white greasesthat contain sodium nitrite. These grades providerust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection athigh temperatures, andantiwear protection.

Chemours™ Krytox® 240 AC, 240 AB and 240 AZ gr-1greases now have NSF approval for incidental foodcontact (H-1) in andaround food processing areas.
