This transparent, protective tape is made from tough,abrasion-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer thatresists punctures, tearing, abrasion and erosion. Formulated forresistance to ultraviolet light and constructed with a long-aging,solvent-resistant, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that isprotected with an easy-release paper liner, 3M 8672 Tape provides asimple, easy method of protecting a surface from corrosion,abrasion and minor impact damage. Designed for outdoor application,it can be installed in a minimum amount of time with simple tools,and can be painted or applied over painted surfaces. Totalthickness is 0.008 inch (0.21 mm). Applications include surfaceprotection applications in aerospace, equipment, automobiles,marine, and general industrial markets. Contains no VOC's.
