Copley Controls: Accelnet MicroPanel (ACJ-090 Series)
20-180 VDC Digital Drives for Brushless Motors
Description
Accelnet Micro Panel is a compact, DC powered servodrive for position, velocity, and torque control of ACbrushless and DC brush motors. It can operate on a distributedcontrol network, as a stand-alone indexing drive, or withexternal motion controllers. Standard feedback is digital quadA/B encoder and two option versions are available tosupport brushless resolver (-R), or analog sin/cosencoders (-S).
Indexing mode enables simplified operation with PLC’swhich use outputs to select and launch indexes and inputsto read back drive status. Additionally, a PLC can sendASCII data that can change motion profiles so that one indexcan perform various motions as machine re
The CANopen distributed control architecture isalso supported. As a CAN node operating underthe CANopen protocol, it supports Profile Position,Profile Velocity, Profile Torque, Interpolated Position, andHoming. Up to 127 drives can operate on a single CAN bus andgroups of drives can be linked via the CAN so that theyexecute motion profiles together.
Operation with external motion controllers is possible intorque (current), velocity, and position modes. Input commandsignals can be ±10V (torque, velocity, position), PWM/Polarity(torque, velocity), or stepper format (CU/CD orStep/Direction).
