SINAMICS V20 – The cost-effective, reliable andeasy-to-use converter for basic applications

Today, in an increasing number ofapplications in plant and machinery construction, individualautomation and drive solutions are demanded that automate simplemotion sequences with low associated requirements.

The compact SINAMICS V20, the basicperformance converter, offers a simple and cost-effective drivesolution for these types of applications. SINAMICS V20 setsitself apart with its quick commissioning times, ease of operation,robustness and cost-efficiency.

With eight frame sizes, it covers a powerrange extending from 0.12 kW to 30 kW (0.16 hp to40 hp).

Minimizing costs

SINAMICS V20 keeps engineering andcommissioning costs as well as those in operation as low aspossible. To increase energy efficiency, the converter is equippedwith a control technique to achieve optimum energy efficiencythrough automatic flux reduction. Not only this, it displays theactual energy consumption and has additional, integratedenergy-saving functions. This allows energy consumption to beslashed drastically.
