The elevator door drive is comprised of a controller and themaintenance-free drive unit, geared motor or gearless EC technologydirect drive motor.
Controllers are electronic controllers connected to the powersupply either via an internal power supply unit (SIDOOR AT12) orvia an external power supply unit (SIDOOR NT40 orSIDOOR Transformer). They are generally connected to thehigher-level controller via digital or fieldbus interfaces, and canbe configured via a user interface.
The SIDOOR AT12, SIDOOR AT40 and SIDOOR ATE500E controllers can beused to operate horizontally operated cabin and shaft doors atadjustable speeds and accelerations.
The SIDOOR ATD400V controller for rising doors and rollingshutters enables the operation of vertical door systems onelevators at adjustable speeds and accelerations.
Geared motors form the maintenance-free drive unit in the doordrive. The geared motors feature DC motors with non-self-lockinggearing, and are speed-controlled. The set force and speed limitsare not exceeded. The gearless motor (direct drive) is themaintenance-free drive unit of the door drive.
Operation of the named door drives does not require limit switches.The door width and the "OPEN"/"CLOSE" positions are determinedautomatically.
The power is transmitted by a toothed belt. The toothed belt passesover a deflector pulley and can be fitted with 2 door clutchholders. This enables it to drive both one-sided andcentrally-opening doors. The accessories are not included in thescope of supply, see "Additional units".

PI-PCS 7-CONNECTInterface PI‑CONNECTOPC+
PI-CONNECT OPC+ reads the process variables cyclically from SIMATICPCS 7 and saves these in the PI long-term archive.
The interface is operated on a separate interface PC on theterminal bus of the SIMATIC PCS 7 process control system, andsupports:
