工业 PC C51xx 系列专为 19英寸机架安装而设计。该款工业 PC 系列装配了Zui高性能等级的组件，若装有在嵌入式 Windows XP 或 Windows XP专业版下运行的 TwinCAT 自动化软件，则会成为机械制造和设备安装工程应用的理想选择。
19 英寸机架安装式工业 PC C51xx 系列采用Intel® Core™ Duo 或 Core™2 Duo处理，配备一个插槽式主板或一个 ATX 主板，能够提供Zui高性能等级的控制。19 英寸抽拉式机箱虽然只有 4个高度单位，但内部仍有大量空间供任何形式的扩展之用。所有现有以及将来的驱动器，诸如任何容量的硬盘、CD/DVD-ROM、multiDVD 4.7 GB 以及其它驱动器，都可安装在可锁的前盖后。
铭牌上提供了详细的 PC配置信息，诸如有关功能、型号和使用资源方面的数据（存储区和断点等）均列入其中，以便正确安装插卡。有关驱动的数据不仅包含制造商和型号信息，而且还包含了接口和跳线类型方面的信息。精心设计的通风结构可在机箱内形成一个微小的超压，能有效防止灰尘的侵入。固定卡座具有抗冲击和抗振动的特点。C51xx系列工业 PC 和控制面板可完美结合成为一个操作单元。

其运算能力可紧随 PC市场升级，具有Zui高性能等级。其机箱结构可确保与所有即将在今后几年上市的任何新型 PC 组件长期兼容。在可锁的前盖后有一个 3.5英寸和三个 5.25 英寸的驱动器插槽。主板集成的 RAID 1 控制器可镜像两个 SATA 硬盘。借助 SATA可拆除的框架可以将这些硬盘安装到两个 5.25 英寸的驱动器弹盖里。这样一来，就可以在 PC 运行时以热插拔方式更换硬盘。
