Insuch a case, it becomes necessary to take adip in the tank toinvestigate the presence of water if any and, to ascertain thepetroleum-water interphase not only to estimate the physical stockof the product but also to avoid the serious risk of the waterbeing accidentally picked up and delivered with the product. TheAQUADIS Water Finding Paste serves well the purpose of a watersensitive colour indicator on the dipping gadget to measure ordetect the presence of water in the petroleum.

Properties: Hygroscopic, green orfawn coloured paste reacting with water to give colour change tobright pink. It is totally unaffected by any petroleum fuel orsolvent, and therefore does not cause contamination of thepetroleum products through which it may pass.

Usage: Make suredipping gadget is free from traces of oil and water, and applythinly and evenly on the surface 8-10 cms on either side of theanticipated 'cutting line'. Introduce gadget vertically into thetank till the coated end touches the tank bottom. Hold steady for15/20 seconds and remove gently. Observe for sharp pinkdemarcation.

Shelf-life: Minimum18months from date of supply, provided that the paste is storedaway from excessive humidity. Container cap must be wiped off afterremoving paste and firmly closed.
