Rimlex® 600Y is a two-part epoxy-based resin system. It has beenspecifically designed for use as a compression seal. It should beapplied to one side of the mating components surface and allowed tocure prior to assembly. Clamping the two components togethercompresses the sealant and therefore effects a seal.
Rimlex® 600Y has excellent chemical resistance to most automotiveoils, fuels, anti-freeze and transmission fluids.
Specifically designed for use as a re-usable pre-applied gaskettype system for sealing threaded plugs and bolts. This system is atwo-part material that cures to give a more densely crosslinkedmaterial than 620B and may be more suitable for high-pressureapplications, or a tough adhesive up to 150oc
