The SINAMICS S210 is equipped as standard with varnished orpartially varnished modules. The painting on the modules protectsthe sensitive SMD components against corrosive gases, chemicallyactive dust and moisture.

In addition to the usual approvals, the SINAMICS S210 drivesystem also has UL approval for the North American market. Thismeans that the drive system, comprising SINAMICS S210 andSIMOTICS S-1FK2, S-1FT2 or S-1FS2 including the One CableConnection (OCC), can be used worldwide.
