Description of the constructionproduct
This EAD is applicable to thekits1 for vertical exterior wall claddings consisting of externalcladding elements, which are mechanically fastened by claddingfixing devices to a metallic (galvanized steel, stainless steel oraluminium alloy) or wooden subframe, associated joint materials andsubframe fixing devices, rendering system and optionally: thermalinsulation and a flexible sheet for waterproofing. The claddingelements are covered subsequently by a rendering system includingreinforcement mesh (glass fibre mesh). This kit is fixed toexternal walls of buildings. Between the cladding element and thethermal insulation or external wall, there is a ventilated air gap,which shall always be drained.
The kit consists of thefollowing components from the rendering system to thesubstrate:
·Rendering system is composedof base coat (organic and cement based) with reinforcement (glassfibre mesh) and render coating. The render coating is composedof:
·key coat - organic or organic/silicate based,
·finishing coat - organic,organic silicate or cement based,
·decorative coat - acrylic oracrylic/siloxane based, as option.
