Here you will find the PROFIBUS GSD files for the drive systemSINAMICS G120.The PROFIBUS GSD file is required to operate theSINAMICS G120 via PROFIBUS and to allow the configuration tools torecognise the inverter. Examples of configuration tools areprevious and current STEP7 versions or COM PROFIBUS. Within thetools the corresponding import functions are provided.
Always use the GSD file that matches your Control Unit (CU) type ororder number – even if you are currently not using all of theControl Unit functions (e.g. Safety functions). After the ControlUnit firmware has been upgraded, it is then only necessary toupdate the GSD files if improved or new functions of the CU are tobe used.
