Halocarbon 200 oil is a high molecular weight polymer ofchlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE). This inert oil is manufactured bya controlled polymerization process and then is stabilized to giveit some very unique properties. This oil is safe, nonflammable andchemically inert – safe for oxygen, chlorine and most reactive gasservices. It has good lubricity, high thermal stability, and lowcompressibility.
