Made for use during aircraft construction, repair andmaintenance, Cytec DAPCO® 18-4F silicone firewall sealant can beused for filleting, coating and sealing materials. This firewallsealant is made up of a two-part, solvent-free silicone compound.The uncured product is a thixotropic paste that can be appliedusing a spatula or an extrusion gun. DAPCO® 18-4F is free of lead,fire-retardant and resistant to weathering and harsh conditions. Italso protects your aircraft with its resistance to most chemicalsthat are common to the aerospace industry and immunity to phosphateester fluids. In addition to being repairable, this sealantprovides excellent performance at extreme temperatures.
