Met-L-Chek® D-702is a special application high temperature inspection developer,form “f”, used with Met-L-Chek® VP-302to enhance detection of surface cracks and porosity on hotsurfaces. Met-L-Chek® D-702dries quickly and produces a thin white film, which is easilyremoved with water after inspection.
Commonly used in field welding and welding repair inspection, D-702is also used in the inspection of refinery processing equipment atelevated temperatures. Met-L-Chek® D-702reduces inspection process time by eliminating the total cool downperiod required for standard penetrant.
