Certonal® heat transfer fluids are a range offluorinated fluids with exceptional thermal stability; dielectricproperties and are essentially chemically inert.
The primary differences in the fluids are in their boiling pointsand pour points.
The absence of chlorine and hydrogen in the molecular structures ofthese fluids gives them a high degree of chemical inertness andgood compatibility across a range of materials used in manyindustries.
Certonal heat transfer fluids have greater stability thanhydrocarbons or silicones over a wide range of temperatures fromtheir low pour point upwards.
The vapour of these fluids, as well as the liquid, has excellentdielectric properties and acts as an insulator with a dielectricstrength of 40kV over a 2.5mm gap.
The combination of properties makes this family of fluids ideallysuited to applications including:
Electronics testing
Radar cooling
Laser optics cooling
Data centre asset cooling
Defence / aerospace applications
